Apostle Blaine, born and raised in Michigan, received his call to the ministry in February 1976. In 1977, he began his practical ministry experience as he worked in various roles including hosting a weekly radio ministry in Rockledge, Florida.
Between the years of 1983 and 1994, Blaine followed God’s direction to focus on the precepts of building a business, which he did both in Florida and in North Carolina. During these years, he served with three praise and worship teams as a drummer and guest speaker to other churches.
Blaine was first licensed in ministry in 1980 through United Christian Church and Ministerial Association in Cleveland, Tennessee. He graduated from Victory Bible Training Center in Palm Bay, Florida in 1984.
In the fall of 1994, God directed Blaine to start Mighty Fortress Church as a home fellowship. The church moved to the inner city of Charlotte, North Carolina, but in 2001 Mighty Fortress Church relocated to Waxhaw, where Blaine assumed full-time responsibility of pastoring the church.
In January 2009, Mighty Fortress Church became a part of Impact International Apostolic Fellowship, a division of Impact International Ministries. Based in Bristol, Virginia, Impact International Apostolic Fellowship is under the direction of Dr. Ryan and Joy LaStrange. Their vision is to transform the nations of this earth by participating in the transformation of local communities and partnering with churches that have the same apostolic mission. Apostle Blaine was ordained through the Impact International Apostolic Fellowship in January 2009.
Apostle Blaine’s passion is to see individuals embrace personal responsibility and rewards of Christ-centered living, to help ministry teams become highly developed with an overflowing capacity for effective service, and to identify and strengthen leadership gifts in the body of Christ. He also ministers in other churches assisting with the development of people, ministry teams, and leadership.
